Dukinfield – Home to a World Champion!

Who says blogs aren’t informative? Just did a little blog searching on my home town of Dukinfield (Uk) and discovered that there is a Champion of the World in our very midst. Ok, so it is a man who has spent 25 years playing the arcade game, ‘Galaxian’ to achieve his status, but respect is due. Especially, when there are very few of these ueber-gamers

    Hi Gary,
    Used to live right opposite the Old General pub (it’s at the top of Astley Street). Are you still the Galaxian World Champion, by the way?

    Yeah , I`m still the champ ! Broke a million plus in August this year . The Old general was one of my old haunts , I used to live on Pickford lane near the park . Only time I get in the Old gen these days is for a booze up after a funeral ….
